Sugar Cookie & Cookie Butter Cake
Hello! Have you ever tried cookie butter (speculoos)? Oh my gosh, it’s so good! I could eat a whole jar. Ok, probably not, but I’d give it my best shot.
I found this recipe on tablespoon and they credited bunsinmyoven with the original recipe. Big shout outs to both of them for this amazing recipe!
It’s packed with cinnamony (is that a word??) goodness. It is good by itself, but add a scoop of ice cream and it’s pure bliss.
It’s so simple to make! It only uses 6 ingredients. If you want to try this yourself, here’s what you’ll need:
1 container (14 oz) cookie butter
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
3 eggs
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
3/4 cup salted butter (melted)
Ok. Let’s do this!
Preheat oven to 350°
Spray a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray
Add cookie butter, sweetened condensed milk, eggs, and cinnamon to mixing bowl. Stir well to combine.
Spread mixture into prepared baking dish.
Sprinkle dry cookie mix evenly over cookie butter batter.
Drizzle the top evenly with melted butter.
Bake for 35 minutes or until golden brown and set.
Cool for 30 minutes before cutting and serving.
I know you are going to love this simple dessert as much as we did. Shout out once more to Tablespoon and Buns In My Oven!
