Chicken and veggie dog treats

Hello! Today I decided to make a new flavor of dog treats for my 6 pack. I made chicken and veggie treats.
I used a 12.5 ounce can of Tyson premium chunk white chicken. This is the chicken I use for chicken salad. I cut the chunks up into small pieces.
I used a frozen vegetable mixture of green beans, peas and carrots. I also added parsley because it helps freshen their breath.
I used oats, an egg and chicken broth to amp up the chicken flavor. I added a small amount of flour to help the mixture hold together.
I swear my 6 pack knows when I’m making treats for them. They were hovering around me the whole time I was putting this together. When I was happy with my ingredients and started baking them, they were pacing around the kitchen. After the first batch was cooled I let them try them. Then they started looking in the oven window as I baked the rest.
These are 100% 6 pack approved. If you’d like to make some for your dogs, here’s what you’ll need:
3 cups of oats
2 cups of cooked chicken (I used Tyson premium chunk white chicken)
1 1/2 cups frozen vegetable mixture (I used green beans, peas and carrots)
2/3 cup chicken broth
1 large egg
3 TBSP parsley
Dash of salt
1/2 – 1 cup flour
Ok. Let’s do this!
Preheat oven to 350°
In a large bowl, add vegetables and chicken broth. Microwave for 1 minute.
Cut chicken chunks into small pieces.
Add chicken, oats, parsley, egg and salt to veggies and broth.

Mix together until evenly combined. (I used my hands to do this)
Next, knead in about 1/2 cup flour to help mixture to hold together well. If your mixture isn’t holding together, add another 1/2 cup flour.

On a floured surface, press mixture to approximately 1/4 inch thickness.
Using a cookie cutter (or top of a glass), cut out treats.

Arrange treats on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake treats for 15 – 18 minutes.

Allow treats to completely cool before giving them to your dog.
I got 46 (2 inch) treats out of this recipe.
