Hello! The other day I decided I wanted to make a vanilla flavored dessert for a change. I’m not knocking chocolate desserts, I just wanted something different. So, I raided the pantry and the refrigerator to see what I had to work with.

I settled on using Jell-o vanilla pudding and pie filling, cream cheese, Cool Whip, white chocolate chips and chocolate sprinkles. See, I didn’t completely leave chocolate out! I also had a package of Golden Oreos, so I made a crust out of those.

Y’all, this is one of ther best desserts I’ve ever had! It literally disappeared. We all loved it. I may have had a piece for breakfast one morning. I also may have been a little upset when My Man ate the last piece. It’s ok though, I just made another delicious dessert for that night!

Ready to try this pie? Here’s what you’ll need:

1 package Golden Oreos (crushed)

6 TBSP butter (melted)

8 oz cream cheese (softened)

1/4 cup sugar

2 TBSP milk (I use 2%)

12 oz whipped topping (divided)

2 packages vanilla pudding and pie filling mix (3.4 oz each)

3 1/4 cups milk (I use 2%)

White chocolate chips and chocolate sprinkles for topping (optional)

Ok. Let’s do this!

Place Oreos into food processor and pulse on high until they are broken into small(ish) crumbs. Alternatively, you could place them in a large Ziplock bag and crush them with a rolling pin.

In a large bowl, combine Oreos and melted butter. Mix until crumbs are fully coated with butter.

Press crumbs into a pie dish (I use one similar to the one in the link) using your hands or the bottom of a glass. Make sure to cover the bottom and up the sides.

Place your pie dish in the refrigerator while you work on the filling.

In a medium sized bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with a hand mixer until fluffy. I have one similar to the one in the link that my mom got me 26 years ago and it’s still going strong!

Add 2 TBSP milk and 1/4 cup sugar and mix well.

Fold in about 1 1/4 cups whipped topping.

Spread the mixture over the crust.

In a medium sized bowl, combine vanilla pudding mix and 3 1/4 cups of milk. Whisk until pudding starts to thicken.

Spread the pudding mix over the cream cheese layer.

Let the pie sit for at least 5 minutes so that the pudding layer can firm up a bit more.

Spread the remaining whipped topping on top.

Sprinkle with white chocolate chips and chocolate sprinkles if you desire.

Place in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.

If you love vanilla you’re going to love this pie! Give it a try for your next dessert!
