Creamy Cilantro Dressing
Hello! Today I’m going to share with you a simple salad dressing recipe. I make this to go with salads when I make Southwest, Tex-Mex and Mexican food. It’s also great with a lunch salad or taco salad.
The first time I made this I made it to accompany a southwest salad that I made. I had grilled onions, corn, tomatoes and peppers. I combined that with lettuce, black beans and bacon for a yummy salad.
Here’s what you’ll need:
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayo
1/4 cup cilantro (roughly chopped)
2 oz diced green chilis
1/2 small onion (finely diced)
2 TBSP lime juice (more to taste)
1/2 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp oregano
Salt and pepper to taste.
Ok. Let’s do this!
Finely dice your onion and give the cilantro a rough chop.
Place all ingredients in a food processor.
Pulse in food processor until well combined.
Taste and add more seasoning if needed.
Pour into a jar with a lid and store in refrigerator.
