Bacon Cheddar Dog Treats

Hello! Today I made the 6 pack some treats. They smelled so good when they were baking!!! They must have been equally as delicious because they all wanted seconds.
I baked these on a low temperature for a longer time and they turned out exactly like I hoped. Not too hard but not so soft that they fall apart.
These will keep in an airtight container at room temperature, but for a longer shelf life you could store them in the refrigerator. With 6 dogs treats don’t last very many days here.
To make these treats, here’s what you’ll need:
4 cups of flour (whole wheat for nutrients)
2 cups cheddar cheese (shredded)
1 cup bacon (cooked and chopped)
1 egg
2 TBSP oil
1 1/3 cup water
Ok. Let’s do this!
Preheat oven to 250°
Combine ingredients in a medium sized bowl.

Knead together until a stiff dough forms.

Press dough out on a lightly floured surface to approximately 3/8 inch thick.
Cut shapes with a cookie cutter or the top of a glass.

Place on baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 2 hours.

Allow treats to completely cool before giving them to your dog!
